Strawberry picking on Mother's Day - not exactly the day we would pick, but it's what worked for our calendar.  Mackenzie was tired and cranky until we got to Eckert's.  She went right back to loving it like last year.  As soon as she ran onto the field & picked her first berry, it went right to her mouth for pure enjoyment.  The trip went so well, no accidents all day, with an added bonus porta potty use for the first time (thank you for those take and toss potty seat covers). 

She thouroughly enjoyed the trip by eating berries the entire time we were picking (about 45minutes), took a break from eating during the tractor ride back, and wanted to down more berries during lunch, the trip home, while playing once we get home, & for dinner.  It was messy, but she loved it.  Her fingers and nails were glowing red with berry stain.  Also, check out these great photos taken with my new Digital EOS!
